Listed below are common questions asked concerning pricing and purchasing. I
hope you find these helpful. If you need further questions answered and cannot find it on the website, please email

HOW ARE PRICES DETERMINED?
Original works are generally based on size, detail of subject, medium used, and whether the piece
is to be framed. Additional charges would be sales tax, if applicable, and shipping costs.
ARE ALL ART WORKS ON THIS SITE AVAILABLE FOR SALE?
Yes, unless
the work is marked sold.
WHAT FORM OF PAYMENTS ARE ACCEPTED?
WE
ARE PLEASED TO OFFER PAY PAL TO OUR CUSTOMERS FOR THE MOST SECURE SALES TRANSACTION. And you do not need to have a Pay
Pal account in order to use these services.
Credit cards (MasterCard, VISA and
Discover Card), personal checks, money orders and cashier's checks in US currency drawn on US banks are also accepted.
Purchases will be shipped once funds have been collected from the bank, generally 14 days. Please make checks payable
to ART BY KAREN SEAMON.
If you have any questions, simply call me at 334
361-9965.
CAN I COMMISSION A PAINTING OF A SPECIFIC SIZE OR SUBJECT?
Yes, of course you can! All you need to do is contact me. I will be happy to discuss your needs
by phone or email and explain the process for commissions. You may also view the COMMISSION page on the website for
more information.
HOW IS THE ARTWORK SHIPPED?
All artwork is carefully packed in Airfloat Strongbox boxes for added protection, insured and shipped by common
carriers such as Federal Express or UPS. If the work is oversized and unable to be shipped via common carrier,
we can make arrangements to send your order via a carrier who specializes in packaging and shipping artwork.
WHAT IF THE ARTWORK ARRIVES DAMAGED?
You should inspect the
shipment on arrival. If a work is damaged, call us immediately concerning the damages so that we can report it to the
carrier. Please do not throw away the box.
HOW MUCH DOES SHIPPING COST?
Shipping costs are based on the size and fragility of the artwork, the amount of insurance coverage, type
of crating or packaging necessary, the distance shipped, the type of carrier used, and the requested speed of delivery.
Any shipping costs are prepaid at the time of purchase.
IS THE ARTWORK FRAMED?
Your choice. Keep in mind that shipping costs can be reduced by purchasing
the work unframed. Also, since framing is an important component of how a work of art is presented and is largely based
on personal taste, the owner of the artwork is often the best person to select the frame.
WHAT
IS YOUR POLICY ON COPYRIGHTS?
The buyer of any of my artwork acknowledges
that I retain all copyright, including reproduction rights, on all pieces of my art. No changes, including mutilation,
are to be made to the art after purchase of the art without my written consent. All other copyright laws regarding the
artwork will also apply.
